This is a suite of 5 interactive investigations that engage children in exploring water. The investigations build on each other and lead children’s thinking through the science LT of Structure and Properties of Materials.

Interactive Lesson

Provide containers and materials that are easily grasped and manipulated, including containers with adaptive handles if available.

• Follow children’s interests and incorporate those interests into the activity as much as possible.
• Provide visuals for children to use as a means to communicate their thoughts and ideas and to ask for help.
